HOW
TO PLAY

NINETM
A Strategy
Game of COLORS
You may have noticed that the game
NINETM
comes in
many versions, however, the game is played basically the same way each time. Once you know
the rules you can play any version.
The
game pieces are made up of the primary colors: red, yellow, and blue. Included
are the secondary colors: green, orange, and purple. Added to these colors were
black, gray, and white. Nine colors, thus the name of the game became NINETM.
In keeping
with the game's name, there are nine pieces of each color needed to play the
game.
(1) The
81 game pieces are mixed or shuffled, depending on the version.
(2) The pieces are then placed, in any order, on a table or a NINETM game board in nine rows of nine with the letter N or name NINETM face down.
(3) Turn over one game piece of each color, anywhere on the board or table, so that you see the letter N or the name NINETM. These pieces become fixed and can not be moved during the rest of the game.
(4) You are now ready to play NINETM. Begin in the row closest to you and arrange the pieces so that you end up with all nine colors in that row. This means you can pick the pieces up and move them to another space.
(5) Repeat this process for each of the other eight rows. However, you must, at the same time, end up with all nine colors in every column too. That's one of each color in every row across and one of each color in every column up and down. Do this and YOU WIN!
